Lancers Defeat PHCC to Advance to FCCAA Tourney

APRIL 26 - The Lancers traveled to New Port Richey this afternoon and defeated Pasco Hernando 7-0 to win the three game series 2-0 and advance to the FCCAA state tournament. Starting pitcher Dustin Leonard threw 8 strong innings allowing only 4 hits while striking out 6 as he improved to 3-1. Shortstop Bobby Haney put the Lancers on the scoreboard with a

2 out RBI single in the 2nd inning. Max Loveland drove in 2 runs with a single in the 5th and Brett Holte drove in 2 runs with a 2 out double in the 7th. Haney and Loveland each had 2 hits. ...
